Lebanon

Escalating violence in the region is putting children in Lebanon at immediate risk and is leading to mass displacement. Working with trusted local partners, War Child has launched an emergency response to help children stay safe, cope with trauma, and regain some sense of stability during an extremely volatile time.

What we do

Since 2012, War Child has been working across Lebanon to help children reclaim their rights and their childhood.

All children deserve the same opportunities in life. That’s why our psychosocial support, education and protection projects see us work with Syrian and Palestinian refugee families as well as Lebanese host communities. We also strive to boost the inclusion of children with disabilities.

We partner with local NGOs and grassroots organisations to co-create our projects and strengthen their capacity. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible through our programming – including parents and caregivers.
