Laura took on the role of Interim CEO five months ago. Since taking on the leadership of the organisation, Laura has supported the War Child Alliance Foundation to articulate and plan implementation of its new strategy, which aims to position War Child as a global thought leader, and strengthen its commitment to localisation, partnerships, and achieve more impact for children affected by conflict.
Laura is well known across War Child, having worked with the organisation since 2007. Prior to becoming Interim CEO, she served as Director of Programme Quality and Scaling and has held a range of roles across Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Palestine, Jordan and the Netherlands.
