International Day of Education – A right for all children
Jan. 24, 2020Today, more than 32 million children and youth are out of school as a result of armed conflict. Denied their right to an education, exposed to violence - these children often experience mental health and psychological problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety. War Child's Can't Wait to Learn programme addresses this critical education emergency.

War Child developing new play methods in Eastern Africa
Dec. 10, 2019War Child is helping to develop new methods of learning through play for children affected by armed violence in East Africa. There are as many as three million refugees in the region, often spending a decade or more of their lives away from their homes, which means a generation of children is deprived of education and a childhood.
