BeThere
BeThere is a caregiver wellbeing and positive parenting methodology and approach to supporting parents and caregivers of children affected by conflict and humanitarian crises.
Why
The pressures facing parents and caregivers in conflict are overwhelming. Many experience stress, trauma, anxiety, depression and uncertainty as they try to look after themselves and their families at the same time.
It can also reduce caregivers ability to protect and support their children or respond effectively to their needs. This creates an environment of uncertainty which negatively affects children's psychosocial wellbeing and development.
